I just got back from 5 days in California without kiddos! I really enjoyed having a break from my day to day duties but I really missed my monkeys and my man. This was the first time I was ever away from Lukie overnight. Everyone did well but they missed me :-) Ga said that Lucas wandered around looking for something and whining although he could not say exactly what was missing. He (and the girls) had lots of BIG hugs for mommy when I returned. It is wonderful to be missed and loved so much!
My primary reason for visiting CA was to go to training to become an independent artist for Piggies & Paws. Of course, I could not visit So Cal without seeing most of my old friends so I extended my trip to 5 days. It was so great to see everyone and catch up - I feel as though I didn't get to spend enough time with anyone. I was busy with someone from morning until night every day I was there. I miss you guys!
I am so excited to begin my new venture as an independent artist for Piggies & Paws. I absolutely love the artwork and I am so proud that they accepted me as an artist. I have a few more steps of training to complete and I hope to hold my first gallery in late February or early March.
