After Christmas Uncle Corey and (Aunt) Jessica came to Texas for a visit! The kids adore Corey & Jessica. We really had fun getting to know Jessica a little better. We think this is important since she is officially joining our family in March! We really adore her and think that Corey couldn't have picked a better wife. She will make a fabulous addition to our family :-)
What a cute couple!
When Corey & Jessica were here all 9 of us piled into two cars and drove down to visit Uncles Ken & Ben on their acreage near Houston. They have a really great place. Several acres of property that includes horses, dogs, a pond, lots of wild creatures and much to the girls' joy a brand new kitten! They were great hosts, cooking two huge meals, taking the kids out in the boat on the pond and letting the kids ride one of the horses. Although it was a quick overnighter we still had a great time.
Daddy worked from home and took vacation a lot over the past two weeks. The kids really enjoyed playing with him and having him around.

You're so sweet Candice! Thanks for the kind words! I agree that Corey couldn't have picked a better wife! LOL, just kidding! I do think that I couldn't have picked a better husband though! Sometimes I can't believe that he even comes with a wonderful family that I am excited to become a part of! I sure am a lucky girl! :)
By the way, I had a lot of fun while I was there! I feel like I am getting to know everyone a little better! I sure hope Corey and I can move out there someday (and bring my sister and brother-in-law and niece!):)
